On Highway 17, cross the state line from SC into NC. At the first light you will see Food Lion on the right and CVS on the left - turn left. You are now on Calabash Road. Almost immediately you will see Carolinas Business Park on Koolabrew Road - turn left. We are in the building on the corner of Calabash and Koolabrew. Go to the Koolabrew side of the building and enter at the Da Vinci Retail Outlet door.
What do you sell?
Breads, pastas, sausage, cheeses, desserts, sooo many delicious Italian specialties and more! Hundreds of different treats - way too many to list here. Plus, we are taking in new products all the time and sometimes they sell out faster than we could have imagined, so it's impossible to keep a current product list. Please visit us at the store and see for yourself, all the wonderful products from which to choose.

To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to you), we accept cash only. We have an ATM available for your convenience.

The History of Da Vinci Foods
From Our Family to Yours
*NOTE* While this account is about the wholesale foodservice side of the company, the retail outlet is closely associated and arose from the same family history in the foodservice industry.
Our family's passion for good food began many years ago, when the head of our family and founder of our company was just 16 years old. In 1970, Tony Cifelli moved from Italy to the United States. He was full of youthful enthusiasm and eagerly took employment in various fields. He learned English and worked up to three jobs at one time, while he decided how to support his future family. He found the love of his life, Lorraine, and they were married in 1975, with plans to start a family right away. Tony and Lorraine started "T & L Food Products" in New Jersey, and the family and business grew up together, side by side.
Over the years, our family business expanded throughout the Tri-State area and catered primarily to Italian restaurants, pizzerias and delicatessens. We specialized in high quality Italian ingredients, along with exceptional customer service. We renamed the company Da Vinci Foods in the early 1990s, to further strengthen our identity in the industry. As the years passed, our distribution expanded to serve 9 states, reaching as far south as the Carolinas. Sadly, due to various circumstances, the company was closed in 2006.
Our family moved to South Carolina, intending to retire from the foodservice industry. However, there was a dire need for a private, family-owned food distribution in the area. Italian restaurants were crying out for high quality products and reliable service. And so Da Vinci Foods was reborn in the greater Myrtle Beach area, with Anthony Jr. as president. Tony Sr., although retired, has continued to serve a valuable role as Anthony's "Consigliere" or adviser.
Under Anthony's lead, Da Vinci Foods has flourished and expanded along the Carolinas coastline. We still carefully hand-pick each vendor and product to meet the needs of our customers, which allows us to offer a level of service second to none. In addition to the original Italian specialties, our product line now includes fresh chicken, pork and veal, as well as bakery ingredients, paper products and much more. We are a full line foodservice company, but we pride ourselves on adapting and catering to the individual needs of each customer. We want only the best for our family of restaurants. This is evidenced by the fact that most of our customers rely on us as their primary and preferred distributor.
As we look to the future growth of the company, our goal remains unchanged - to provide a simple, enjoyable experience to our extended "family".
